New NCS PC Chair Appointed

On July 19, 2007 the NCS Nominating Committee and NIBS' President appointed Mark Butler, from HDR, as Chair of the NCS Project Committee for the next NCS Revision Cycle. The NCSPC Chair provides leadership in one of NIBS' most visible efforts. In addition to leading the NCSPC through a revision cycle, the Chair is responsible for appointing and chairing the NCS Steering Committee (NCSSC). The term of the current members of the NCS Steering Committee will expire with the December release of NCS Version 4.0.
